Shauna + Eddie
The wedding of Shauna and Eddie back in June has made for a truly epic love story. The momentous occasion was made even more special by the fact this couple have been together since they were 16 and are now embarking on this exciting new chapter together. With Eddie being in the army, his fellow soldiers made sure the couple started their marriage off in style with a guard of honour. This dramatic military theme was present throughout the day, starting with the ceremony in the impressive McKee Barracks in Dublin.
From here, we headed to one of my favourite wedding venues in Ireland, Luttrellstown Castle. As if this beautiful setting wasn’t enough, guests were treated to some incredible falconry during the reception and after a quick outfit change from the bride and groom, the party really got going.
I have to say, this has definitely been one of my most stand-out weddings this year. The presence of the soldiers, with their guard of honour and uniforms gave such meaning and class to the ceremony and was a first for me. The breath-taking details at Luttrellstown Castle never cease to amaze me and that combined with fun-loving guests and a great couple - it was an absolute pleasure to shoot.
I wish Shauna and Eddie a lifetime of happiness together and am delighted they will be able to share their wedding film with friends and family for years to come as a reminder of what a special day it was.
